Pour everything into a tall glass ⅔ filled with crushed ice.
Swizzle until well chilled. Add more ice to fill, then swizzle again. Garnish with mint sprig and lime slice speared to cocktail cherry.
Jasper’s basic stock :
To make approximately 24 oz (serves 16), mix :
- 16 oz lime juice
- 12 oz sugar (340g)
- 1 oz Angostura bitters
- 1 tsp grated nutmeg.
Stir to dissolve, bottle and refrigerate.
Jasper’s basic stock (1 serve only) :
To make for just one cocktail, replace the 1½ oz of stock by :
- 1 oz lime juice
- 3/4 oz rich simple syrup (2:1)
- 2 dash Angostura bitters
- 1 pinch of grated nutmeg
